Missionaries are real people. They have the same trails, concerns and struggles that we all face.
However, their problems are often compounded because of national and cultural challenges. Missionaries also are isolated from many of the resources that we all take for granted. Resources like Pastoral Care, marriage counseling and child-raising.
HOW WE HELP MISSIONARIES
We serve missionaries in the following ways:
1. By processing monetary gifts.
2. By regularly checking in with our missionaries offering intentional encouragement, counsel, pastoral care, and prayer.
3. By offering biblical training before servicing in the field.
4. By offering ongoing training opportunities while serving in the field.
5. By offering free conference attendance for missionaries home during the annual TF conference.
It is our joy to send and support mature disciples of our Lord Jesus. We believe missionaries should meet the standards outlined for godly leaders throughout the New Testament. We do not require a master or seminary degree for our missionaries. However, additional biblical training may be mandated for candidates depending on circumstances. All missionaries sent by TF must agree to Table Fellowship’s constitution and by-laws.
The first step is contacting our missions director. An initial interview will be set up to see if we’re a good fit for you and if you are a good fit for us. After this initial interview, we will begin taking the steps necessary for you to become a TF missionary. The final step is a presentation to the TF board for final approval.
Sometimes, missionaries desire to transfer from another missions agency to TF. If you are in this situation, please contact our missions director to share your story and to see if Table Fellowship is right for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Table Fellowship missionaries give 6% of the donations they receive to Table Fellowship. Of this amount, 5% goes toward Table Fellowship Missions’ expenses. The extra 1% goes into an emergency fund that is saved up for Table Fellowship missionaries.
We strive to communicate with our missionaries on a regular basis. This, of course, depends on the missionaries and their situation.

The needs of our missionaries differ dramatically. However, as with our churches, we strive to help our missionaries in any way we can.

Our aim is to help churches to be biblically healthy. Obviously, we cannot guarantee that we will accomplish this goal. Every aspect of the health of a local church depends on the grace of God and the cooperation of his people. We are praying that we might be faithful and receive strong help from our Lord as we work toward our goal of “being biblically healthy churches”.
